Math and Science Family Night
On Tuesday, March 15, 2016 CLMS held our annual Math & Science Family night. Our math and science departments created some exciting, hands-on activities for the whole family to enjoy! Some of the activities were: • “M&M Survival Challenge” • “The Petting Zoo” • “Hang It Up” • “Catch This” • “Savvy Shopper” • “Slope With A Rope” CLMS teachers and staff members hope that our families learned that math and science can be educational, as well as, fun and interactive!
Socials Studies and Internet Safety Parent Night
The Social Studies department hosted our January 2016 Parent Night and one of Sheriff Judd’s Polk County deputies was on hand to speak with parents about internet safety. Parents were given valuable information on how to safeguard their students from the possible dangers of the internet. These Parent Nights are always very informative and we encourage our parents to attend our next one on Feb. 23rd at 5:30pm when the Reading and Language Arts teachers will be hosting.
